The Krewe Stumps & Lumps was established in 9/22 (September 2022).  A group of prosthetic men and women (and our families) attend the parade and plan on doing it every year thereafter with style. This krewe is about inclusion and allowing those who are missing parts and limbs to have the opportunity to enjoy the parade as much as anyone else. Then we learned that so many great Krewes in our area had outstanding missions and advocacy work that they stood for. So we thought, it would be good to stand up for those who have trouble standing on their own. So, now we are looking for others to stand with us and have fun while doing so.
